May 6th HTC Event Likely Not Android Related

If you’re holding your breath until you get to see the HTC Dream, you might wanna reconsider. What was initially speculated to be the first glimpses of an official Android handset is looking more and more like the debut of some new Windows Mobile devices. Instead of “Dream”, starting thinking along the lines of “Diamond”.

Nonetheless, we’ll still be covering the event if only because HTC is a founding member of the Open Handset Alliance. We’re big fans of HTC here at AndroidGuys and Microsoft has made some great advancements with Windows Mobile. The last few pairings have been simply stunning. So what exactly will the Diamond have in it?
