Will We Get First Glimpse of HTC Dream May 6th?

Are these the words that will usher in the age of Android? We saw an article pop up on PhoneMag today that shows an “invitation” to an HTC event planned for May 6th where HTC tells one to save the date and reserve a front row seat.
We’ve not been able to identify exactly where this invitation comes from or where it’s available so we’re remaining a little hesitant in guessing what will be talked about.
One thing is certain - We will be watching this event very closely as we hope it is the launching of the HTC Dream. Stay tuned to AndroidGuys as we’ll give you any updates we come across.

Fingers crossed the last statement made at that event is NOT “…retailing for just $599.99….” : (
P.S. Has anyone got Android to run on [ relatively cheap ] OpenMoko hardware? I have some serious concerns that Marketing people will make the mistake of thinking hardware that supports Android should have a “luxury” price point and artificially inflate the price ABOVE the iPhone. Grrrrrrrr.
I want a “Fischer Price” style hardware target. Cheap. Simple. Indestructible.
